HTechnical Officer Team Strengthened

Technical Officer Team Strengthened

Following Simon Cox leaving the Association at the end of August to start his own business, we are pleased to announce that we have used the opportunity to recruit by widening and further developing the skill set of the organisation’s technical team.

Paul McBride has been appointed as the new full time Technical Officer, joining Senior Technical Officer Simon Richmond and Approved Contractor and Registered Consultant schemes manager Paul Smith.

Paul starts on 2nd October and brings over 20 years’ worth of experience in the arboriculture industry and is still an active climber.

In another exciting development for the Association, as the industry grows and with it the demands placed on the Technical team at the Malthouse; we’re pleased to announce that Jim Mullholland will also join the Association as part-time Technical Officer, working 2 days a week. Jim begins his post on 4th September.

Autumn Issue Digital Arb Magazine

To celebrate the recent launch of the digital Arb Magazine we’ve decided to give the publication a facelift. After sitting atop the most valued member benefits league table for many years we thought it deserved one!

This 2nd digital issue will be the last version available to both members and non members.

We are working on digitising back issues as part of online membership access and hope to have news on this for 2018. There’s some great articles on collaboration, remembering the 1987 storm and much more – enjoy it all on the go!
